Lesson 6 Reflection (Tai Jun Rong 34)
Facts- What I know about surveys?
-It has a neutral opinion of a certain action or behaviour
-They are commonly used in newspapers for reports for questions like "How often do students read storybooks?"
-It is used when someone wants to find out a how frequent does the public carry out a certain behaviour.
Ideas- What I think of surveys?
-They are useful for gathering data
-They are useful for evaluating and analysis of data
-It is convenient yet efficient in data collecting
Learning issues- What I found out in the survey?
-We will be working on the survey very soon
Action plan- What I can do after the survey?
-Gather the data collected then analyse the readings recorded
-After that, discuss on the analysis recorded.
-Proceed on to the next lesson

Lesson 6 Reflection (Jun Xiang) ™
Jun Xiang™
Facts- What I know about surveys?
- Surveys are like investigating the opinions and experiences of a group of people by asking them questions
- It is like a way of gathering information on a task one needs to find out
- They are also like investigating people behaviors towards a certain topic, for example, global warming
Ideas- What I think of surveys?
- I think that surveys is useful for people who wants to research on people's action, thinking and behavior towards a topic.
- I think that the questions in the surveys are unbiased and has no right or wrong
- They are useful for researchers to conduct an investigation
Learning issues- What I found out in the survey?
- The survey isn't yet completed at the moment and will be uploaded very soon
Action plan- What I can do after the survey?
- I can collate the information and compare the results in, for example, a bar graph or pie chart.
- Find out what I sould do next!

Lesson 5 Reflection (Tai Jun Rong 34)
What have we done so far?
We have submitted our project planner A & B and we will be completing the assigning of roles by this lesson. I will still continue to do the researching and the editing of the blog.
What do we want to do next?
We are going to work on the survey next. Discuss on the important topics.
I will be doing a mind map to brainstorm on the ideas and branch out on the different topics, and I will accumulate them, then will discuss about the ideas, to see which of the few is suitable and agreeable.
What have we learnt?
We have learnt that not submitting reflections will deduct marks, so we must learn to be punctual and give in quality work
lesson 5 reflection [gregory tay 37]
Giving ideas- there were no ideas given during lesson 5
Encouraging others- we 'honked from behind' like what mr kwok has said and told us to do when we were in sec one still...
Staying focus on group discussions- this week, we did very little discussion and were still as focused as ever although it was still only a little bit of discussion.
What I enjoyed during this lesson
this lesson was quiet and peacful, just the perfect learning ambience we needed to do our research. What I did not enjoy about this lesson
- The group had been very well behaved and I did not have any unhappiness about this lesson
What could be done better next time
-we shall try to interact and discuss more about the project the next lesson...
Lesson 5 reflection (Jun Xiang)
What have we done so far?
- We have completed our project planner A & B before lesson 5 and is before time. We are also working on Project task allocation form and it will be uploaded to the group blog in due time
- We have also researched on some of the question for the theme on global warming and will be improving on the research
What do we have to do next?
- We will have to start creating surveys on the theme: global warming
- We will be surveying the public on the theme and collaborating the results and finalise it.
Whathave we learnt?
- We have learnt that we can be a leader and do the difficult things
- We have learnt that we can be a united team that progress towards success
- We have gained some research skills by researching on the topics of global warming
lesson 4 reflection [gregory tay 37]
Giving ideas- i tried to give ideas and suggestions that can help us in the research of global warming and greenhouse effects, for example:
-what question do we use if we want to do a survey?
-what other websites can we search for to find out more about our group project theme.
-what question do we use if we want to do a survey?
-what other websites can we search for to find out more about our group project theme.
Encouraging others- trying to help others by encouraping the to work in the same direction and aim for one of the best project works of our level.
Staying focus on group discussions- we tried to give helpful suggestions and other project question that will help us in the project work process.
What I enjoyed during this lesson
- My team mates were very cooperative and sociable
-the lesson was productive and we were able to make some useful question for our survey we want to conduct.-the leader was cooperative and could crack jokes to break the 'sian' spirit.
What I did not enjoy about this lesson
- The group had been very well behaved and I did not have any unhappiness about this lesson
What could be done better next time
- The group should try to be ahead to time, meaning that they should not wait for teachers to explain the day's work and to be much prepared for the lessons upcoming
- the group can also make a time or day where we gather and discuss more about the project theme and do work and research together.
- the group can also make a time or day where we gather and discuss more about the project theme and do work and research together.
Lesson 4 Reflection (Tai Jun Rong 34)
-Be punctual
-To give quality work in our reflections and our discussions
-Researching now is better than later, more time to edit and give out the best
-To give quality work in our reflections and our discussions
-Researching now is better than later, more time to edit and give out the best
Staying focus on group discussions- Be less talkative
-Do not discuss about other things except our work
-Be serious and not horsing around
-Do not discuss about other things except our work
-Be serious and not horsing around
I enjoyed during this lesson
-We were in V formation
-I am proud of our progress so far
- I am impressed by our different and unique views we had given
-I am proud of our progress so far

What I did not enjoy about this lesson
- NIL
What could be done better next time
- be more dilligent
Lesson 4 Reflection (Brendan)
We have chosen the 5 guiding questions and the areas that our group would be doing research into. We have also finalised our project topic and we will be doing global warming. For our proposal, we will be doing research papers and a comic about global warming to show how global warming affects our environment. All our members will play their part and contribute to the project.
Lesson 4 Reflection(dominic)
Our group have finalised on the project topic and we have chosen to use research paper and comic to present what we have found out about the topic which are greenhouse gases effect.
We have assigned a row for each of our member and we will allow it in order to do the project efficiently.

How Do Humans contribute to the Greenhouse effect?
Hi, I have done my part and have researched on the above topic.
How Do Humans Contribute to the Greenhouse Effect?
While the greenhouse effect is an essential environmental prerequisite for life on Earth, there really can be too much of a good thing. The problems begin when human activities distort and accelerate the natural process by creating more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere than are necessary to warm the planet to an ideal temperature.
Some Factors:
Burning natural gas, coal and oil -including gasoline for automobile engines-raises the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Some farming practices and land-use changes increase the levels of methane and nitrous oxide. Many factories produce long-lasting industrial gases that do not occur naturally, yet contribute significantly to the enhanced greenhouse effect and "global warming" that is currently under way.
Deforestation also contributes to global warming. Trees use carbon dioxide and give off oxygen in its place, which helps to create the optimal balance of gases in the atmosphere. As more forests are logged for timber or cut down to make way for farming, however, there are fewer trees to perform this critical function.
Population growth is another factor in global warming, because as more people use fossil fuels for heat, transportation and manufacturing the level of greenhouse gases continues to increase. As more farming occurs to feed millions of new people, more greenhouse gases enter the atmosphere.
Ultimately, more greenhouse gases means more infrared radiation trapped and held, which gradually increases the temperature of the Earth's surface and the air in the lower atmosphere.
